1. IQAC Overview
- The IQAC is a core body established to monitor, improve, and maintain quality standards across academic, administrative, and infrastructural domains—aligned with NAAC guidelines.
- It sets quality benchmarks, promotes best practices, gathers stakeholder feedback, oversees documentation, and prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).
2. IQAC Committee Composition
- Typically includes:
o Principal (Chair)
o Senior Faculty Members
o Administrative Staff
o Student & Alumni Representatives
o External Experts (Academic/Industry)
- The composition renews annually to align with institutional and NAAC requirements.
3. Minutes of Meetings (MoM)
- All IQAC sessions are meticulously recorded, with minutes documenting decisions, action items, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Typical meeting schedule (as observed at peer institutions) includes:
o 2023–24: Meetings held in July, October, January, March
o 2022–23: June, October, February, April
o (These reflect the pattern followed by NGOs such as Government Girls’ College Ajmer and Lal Bahadur Shastri Govt. College Kotputli).
- Expandable panel per academic year, listing each meeting with date, key agenda items, and downloadable MoM PDF link.
4. Action Taken Report (ATR)
- After each IQAC meeting, an ATR is issued summarizing implemented actions and progress against timelines.
- The ATR logs improvements like:
o Implemented feedback mechanisms
o Curriculum updates
o Development of facilities (laboratories, Wi‑Fi, etc.)
o Faculty development and training initiatives.
