IQAC. MOM & ATR

1. IQAC Overview

  • The IQAC is a core body established to monitor, improve, and maintain quality standards across academic, administrative, and infrastructural domains—aligned with NAAC guidelines.
  • It sets quality benchmarks, promotes best practices, gathers stakeholder feedback, oversees documentation, and prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).

2. IQAC Committee Composition

  • Typically includes:

o    Principal (Chair)

o    Senior Faculty Members

o    Administrative Staff

o    Student & Alumni Representatives

o    External Experts (Academic/Industry)

  • The composition renews annually to align with institutional and NAAC requirements.

3. Minutes of Meetings (MoM)

  • All IQAC sessions are meticulously recorded, with minutes documenting decisions, action items, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Typical meeting schedule (as observed at peer institutions) includes:

o    2023–24: Meetings held in July, October, January, March

o    2022–23: June, October, February, April

o    (These reflect the pattern followed by NGOs such as Government Girls’ College Ajmer and Lal Bahadur Shastri Govt. College Kotputli).

  • Expandable panel per academic year, listing each meeting with date, key agenda items, and downloadable MoM PDF link.

4. Action Taken Report (ATR)

  • After each IQAC meeting, an ATR is issued summarizing implemented actions and progress against timelines.
  • The ATR logs improvements like:

o    Implemented feedback mechanisms

o    Curriculum updates

o    Development of facilities (laboratories, Wi‑Fi, etc.)

o    Faculty development and training initiatives.
