Environmental audit

An Environment Audit is a documented, periodic evaluation of the college’s environmental performance. It assesses compliance with regulations, management systems, and identifies corrective actions—akin to financial audits but for ecological health.

2. NAAC Criterion & Requirements

Under NAAC metrics (7.1.6), an institution must conduct:

  1. Green Audit
  2. Energy Audit
  3. Environment Audit
  4. Clean & Green Campus initiatives
  5. Beyond-campus environmental promotional activities 

The Environment Audit specifically ensures legal and systematic compliance with environmental standards .
